Find parks and outdoor activities to choose from in Owasso, Oklahoma. Owasso’s Parks Department provides recreational opportunities that complement the quality of life for Owasso residents. The Parks Department oversees and maintains 264 acres of park land. These parks include miles of walking trails, baseball fields, soccer fields, football fields, softball fields, play areas, restrooms, the Skate Park, Spray Park, and Owasso Veterans Memorial.

Downtown Redbud Festival Park
This new park in the Downtown Redbud District serves as an open, beautiful gathering place in the heart of the city. Locals congregate here and enjoy events such as concerts and the farmer’s market. The park includes a large lawn, pavilion and performance stage, and hosts community gatherings, concerts and other events.
Centennial Park
Featuring the longest trail in Owasso (three miles), this 47-acre park is popular with walkers, joggers, bicyclists and children. This Owasso park includes picnic shelters, fishing ponds, playground equipment, and an 18-hole disc golf course.
Owasso Sports Park North/Funtastic Island/Veteran’s Memorial
As the city’s primary activity center for youth sports such as soccer, baseball, softball, and flag football, Owasso Sports Park is used heavily for league games and tournaments. The park is immediately adjacent to Funtastic Island and Veteran’s Memorial parks.
Funtastic Island is an outstanding destination-quality play area that was designed and built by community volunteers. It includes swings, climbing equipment, slides, and picnic facilities. Adjacent to this family-oriented park, the Veteran’s Memorial facilities include granite monuments and benches, and a walking trail.
Owasso parks are home to annual festivals and events such as the Harvest Festival and amenities such as the gazebo at Friendship Park.
Rayola Park/Friendship Park
Rayola Park is home to sports fields and courts, ¾-mile walking trail, picnic shelter, playground equipment, and a spray park. It is also home to the Owasso Family YMCA. Adjacent Friendship Park is recognized for its gazebo, a popular venue for civic events, a butterfly garden, memorial trees and ornamental gas lighting.
Owasso Skate Park
The Owasso Skate Park provides an alternative form of recreation that adds diversity to Owasso’s park system. The park features several play features and ramps for skate boarding and bike enthusiasts.
Waggin’ Trail Dog Park
Open dawn to dusk Tuesday through Sunday, Owasso’s Waggin’ Trail Dog Park sits on eight beautiful acres. Three acres are fenced-in large and small dog park areas.
