Owasso Recreation and Culture held its 2025 Spring Fling on April 12. The event drew hundreds of people to Redbud Festival Park to enjoy fun games, delicious food, upbeat music and lots of vendors to kick off the spring season.

The City of Owasso on April 7 celebrated celebrated a “topping out” ceremony at its new Public Works Facility, under construction off of 116th Street just west of Owasso Sports Park.

Owasso's first Coed Spring Softball game of 2025 was held at Owasso Sports Park on March 2, which included seven new teams: Eagle OPS, Fire Breathing Kittens, Integrity, Low Expectations, Mound Pounders, Winded Warriors and Woodies.

In February, the 138th Fighter Wing paid tribute to the City of Owasso by naming one of its F-16 fighter jets “The Spirit of Owasso” at a special ceremony held at Tulsa's Air National Guard Base.

OSNI hosted its 2025 Neighborhood Leadership Conference at the end of January. Neighborhood leaders gathered at City Hall to discuss future projects and grants, hear a panel discussion with city department heads, and engage in new ideas.

The City of Owasso’s 2024 Christmas Parade was a jolly good success! Thousands of people across the community come together to celebrate the holiday season.

A new 35-acre site, Robinson Business Park, broke ground in Owasso. The $22 million project, spearheaded by West Construction, will play host to single- and multi-tenant light industrial spaces that will help spur economic development in the area.
