Owasso’s workforce benefits from convenient access to a wide range of training and academic programs. The talent pipeline often begins with Owasso Public Schools — one of the largest and highest-performing school districts in the state. STEM education is integrated at all elementary and junior high schools, with junior high students also offered opportunities to participate in robotics programs.

Owasso Public Schools
Owasso Public Schools serves Owasso, Oklahoma, with 13 academic campuses, including Owasso High School. As of 2024, the district enrolls 9,800 students and is led by Superintendent Dr. Margaret Coates. It includes 11 elementary schools, 3 middle schools, and 2 high school campuses, one of which is the Ram Academy, a program designed to support at-risk students and prevent dropouts. The Ram Academy received recognition from the National Dropout Prevention Network in 2015 for its impactful work.

Tulsa Tech serves almost 5,000 adult and secondary students annually. Its full-time career training programs are offered tuition-free in 14 public school districts throughout Tulsa and surrounding counties, including Owasso Public Schools, as well as private, parochial and home-schooled students. Additionally, Tulsa Tech serves nearly 10,000 students annually in part-time evening and weekend classes.

Tulsa Community College is a public community college in Tulsa, Oklahoma. It was founded in 1970 and is the largest two-year college in Oklahoma. It serves approximately 23,000 students per year in classes. TCC consists of four main campuses, two community campuses, and a conference center situated throughout the Tulsa metropolitan area with an annual budget of approximately $112 million.
